2008

With the help of some friends, the bare necessities of life were put into place in the months that followed: the installation of a greenhouse, which will serve as a workshop and storage space; the setting up of a yurt and various other facilities and the organization of the space.

We acquired a small house in Maella in September. After some work the library and office were operational in October.

Acquisition, also of a big house to renovate, in Maella, with the idea to create a meeting place in the village.

The most important work on the land for that winter has been the planting and sowing of about 400 trees, both fruit and forestry, and mulching.

There was also the removing of the dead wood from the trees and an early vegetable garden. And then lots of small jobs.
